The Edison George Town Hotel

The edison is super well-located for strolls around george town. The room was comfy with a nice big bathroom and the staff were really friendly. We loved the decor and the wine hour was a chill way to unwind. Definitely a treat to have snacks and drinks available 24/7 in the lounge!

but the breakfast options could've been better and there was some noise from nearby places at night.

Modern hotel in an incredible location within walking distance of everything, incredibly welcoming personal. Great breakfasts with local food, cheese, the usual cereal. Simply no complaints whatsoever, really great stay.

Noise from the nearby karaoke venue keeps the volume up until midnight, which can disrupt sleep. Upon arrival, I discovered the room hadn't been cleaned properly. I found used cups, a dirty bathroom, and signs of neglect like mould and dust. The breakfast served was lackluster-a mere slice of toast and a few sad greens, failing to meet expectations given the price.

We loved the daily wine and cheese evening-such a lekker way to wind down! Plus, the vibe and decor had this charming colonial feel that just sucked us in. Special shoutout to the staff, especially Faz.

Only downside was the faint noise from the karaoke spot nearby, but it didn't ruin our stay at all.

I was appalled by the dirty room upon arrival. A used cup was left behind, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The breakfast was a mere sad little plate, disappointing! For the rates charged, i woudl ve expected complimentary service, but alas, not even an upgrade for inconvenience. It almost had potential, but just couldn't deliver.

The service was great. Albert and his team were super helpful, giving me all the tips for local food and sights. They even got my room ready before check-in!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but worth every penny, given the quality.
